20-minute Cakes

We will savour the delicious filling of Sicilian cannoli in a cake format with Cuor di Sicilia (ricotta sunken cake), then play with the summery combination of coconut and amarena cherries in torta cocco e amarene. We will bake the deceptively simple showstopper that is torta al mandarino (upside-down clementine cake), and finally indulge in one of the most iconic flavour combinations in Italian baking: tortine cioccolato e pere (chocolate and pear cupcakes). We will also be preparing some ingenious sauces to elevate our simple bakes to elegant, indulgent desserts.

Skill level

This class is suitable for beginner with little or no experience of baking as well as more experienced bakers looking for some Italian inspiration.

What’s included

Ingredients, consumables and access to all necessary baking tools and equipment, a quick lunch with wine and refreshments throughout the day. You do not need to bring anything with you other than a large container or a bag to take home some of your delicious bakes.

If you have any questions about this class, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
