A robust straight-edge scraper is a baker’s best friend: it helps lifting soft and sticky dough off the working surface and it’s essential to knead the crumbliest pastry without over-working it. The right corners of this scraper make it suitable also for smoothing the frosting on cakes up to 15cm (5.9”) tall. The stainless steel makes it durable, rust-free and dishwasher safe. I have had one of these for over 15 years and it still looks like new… and I use it a lot!
